मेरे बड़े भाई डॉक्टर आज्ञा राम शर्मा उस समय राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के प्रचारक थे | उनके सर कलम करने की कीमत उस समय 10000/- रखी थी परन्तु कृपा से छुपते – छुपाते हिंदुस्तान के अमृतसर में पहुँच गये | तीन-चार महीने अमृतसर रहकर हम गुडगाँव आ गये और तभी से यहीं रह रहे है | मैंने गुडगाँव से मैट्रिक की और फिर डी. एस. डी. कॉलेज से एफ. ए. की डिग्री प्राप्त की, एन. सी. सी. का प्रमाण पत्र हासिल किया |
1956 में मैं फ़ौज में सेकंड लेफ्टिनेंट चुन लिया गया | फिर किसी कारण नहीं जा सकता फिर दिल्ली में फिल्म वितरण का काम किया | घाटे के कारण गुडगाँव आ गया और रबड़-प्लास्टिक की फैक्ट्री लगाई पुन: घाटे के कारण छोड़कर देव पिक्चर हाल में मैनेजर की नौकरी की | मैंने अपना खुला सिनेमा हाल पटौदी में खोला पर पुन: घाटे की स्थिति में गुडगाँव इरोज सिनेमा हाल में मैनेजर की नौकरी की जिसका अब नाम जय सिनेमा हाल है |
1987 में स्वतंत्र रूप से विधायक का चुनाव लड़ा और 1991 में भी पुन: विधायक का चुनाव लड़ा और 1994 में कांग्रेस ज्वाइन की और 1997 में जिला गुडगाँव का अध्यक्ष चुना गया | 1998-99 में अर्बन एस्टेट का आर. डब्लू. ए. का अध्यक्ष रहा व विभिन्न प्रकार के सामाजिक कल्याण कार्य किये, जो आज तक याद किये जाते है | 1997 से अभी तक सेक्टर – 7 में स्थित सनातन धर्म गौरी शंकर मंदिर (रजि.) में अध्यक्ष पद पर कार्यरत हूँ | अपने जिले में कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष के रूप में अपनी पार्टी को बड़े उत्साह व उमंग के साथ कार्यकर्त्ताओं में जोश भर कर ऊंचाई के शिखर पर पहुँचाने में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी |
मेरी माता जी व पिता जी, पांच बहने, दो भाई, धर्मपत्नी स्वर्गवासी हो चुके है | अब परिवार में 3 पौत्र-पौत्री, पुत्रवधू व पौत्र वधु संपन्न परिवार में क्षेत्र की संभ्रांत कॉलोनी सेक्टर-7 में निवास कर 86 वर्ष की आयु में सेवा कर रहे है | ईश्वर कृपा व प्रसाद आशीर्वाद मिला हुआ है मैं उनके प्रति नतमस्तक हूँ।
