मैं अपनी दादी और भाई के साथ थी | तो मेरी दादी ने मेरी शादी रस्ते में श्री गोपी नाथ के मंदिर में करवा दी थी | तो मैं अपने पति के साथ रेलगाड़ी में करनाल आ गई, वहाँ हम गाँव कुंजपुरा में टेंटों में 5-6 महिना रहे थे |
फिर वहाँ से हम गाँव गौछी तहसील बल्लभगढ़ आ गये जहाँ हमें एक मकान अलाट हुआ था | गाँव गौछी में मेरी चार लड़कियां और एक लड़का हुआ | फिर वहाँ से हम काम की तलाश में कैथल चले गये | कैथल में मेरे पति ने दुकानदारी कर के और मेहनत मजदूरी कर के बच्चों को पढ़ाया, लिखाया और उनकी शादियाँ की |
सन 1982 को मेरे पति का देहांत हो गया | मेरे पति की मृत्यु के बाद, मैंने अपने बेटे के साथ मिलकर दो बेटियों की शादी की | मेरे बेटे के दो लड़के यानि मेरे दो पोते है | उनकी भी शादी हो चुकी है | सन 2013 में, हम अपने पोतों के साथ गुड़गाँव आ गये है |

Viral Sach – 1947 – I was born in village Hodi Basti district Dera Ghazi Khan (Pakistan). I was about 13 years old when India-Pakistan was formed. I was engaged and when the killings started in August 1947, my father had been dead for 3-4 years at that time.
I was with my grandmother and brother. So my grandmother got me married on the way to Shri Gopi Nath’s temple. So I came to Karnal with my husband by train, there we stayed in tents in village Kunjpura for 5-6 months.
Then from there we came to village Gauchi Tehsil Ballabhgarh where we were allotted a house. I had four girls and one boy in village Gauchi. Then from there we went to Kaithal in search of work. In Kaithal, my husband worked as a shopkeeper and worked as a laborer, taught the children, wrote them and arranged their marriages.
My husband passed away in the year 1982. After the death of my husband, I married my two daughters together with my son. My son has two sons i.e. I have two grandsons. He is also married. In the year 2013, we have come to Gurgaon with our grandchildren.
By Guru Maharaj’s grace, I am now living with my son, grandsons and great-grandsons. I pray to God that the scene of carnage that I have seen at the time of partition, should not be seen again.
