विभाजन के समय मेरी आयु 8-9 साल की थी | मुझे केवल इतना याद है कि उन दिनों अफवाह फैलाई गई थी कि आज रात को गाँव में लुटेरे आयेंगे और हिन्दुओं को मार देंगे इसलिए रात होने से पहले सब हिन्दू बिना सामान लिए आज रात तो तौंसा तहसील से निकल जाओ, 2 दिन बाद वापस आ जाना | गाँव के सब हिन्दू रात होने से पहले तौंसा से भाग गये |
बिना सामान के सब हिन्दू निकल गये और 2 दिन तौंसा शरीफ में रहने के बाद अफवाह फैला दी गयी कि सब कुछ लूट ले गये और जो लोग रह गये उनको जान से मार दिया गया | भारत द्वारा भेजी गयी मिलिट्री हमें ट्रकों में भर कर डेरा गाजी खान रेलवे स्टेशन पर एक गाड़ी में बिठा कर चले गये, गाड़ी इन सब लोगों को लेकर भारत की तरफ रवाना हुई |रास्ते में कई स्टेशनों पर मुसलमान गुंडे गाड़ी रुकवाकर लोगों को उतारकर क़त्ल करने लगे |
परमात्मा की कृपा से हम बचकर हिसार स्टेशन पर उतार दिए गये | गवर्नमेंट कॉलेज के भवन में हमें 10 दिन रखकर वहाँ से गुडगाँव भेजा गया | गुडगाँव में रेलवे कैंप गौशाला कैंप में रखा गया | कुछ महीनों तक राशन मिलता वही खाते रहे | प्राइमरी स्कूल खोल दिए, वहाँ हम पांचवी तक पढ़े फिर छठी क्लास में हाई स्कूल में आ गये | मेरे दो बड़े भाई मेहनत मजदूरी करने लगे और कठिनाई से पेट पालने लगे |
कुछ समय बाद रेलवे कैंप और अर्जुन नगर में कच्ची कोठियां बना कर रिफ्यूजी बनकर रहने लगे | कम आयु होने के कारण मैंने अपनी आँखों से कोई क़त्ल नहीं देखा इसलिए बाकी कुछ नहीं जानता |

My two elder brothers started working hard as laborers and started feeding with difficulty.
After some time, in the railway camp and Arjun Nagar, they started living as refugees by making kutchi kothis. Due to my young age, I did not see any murder with my own eyes, so I do not know anything else.
