दैनिक रेल यात्री संघ फरूखनगर के संस्थापक बीएस सारवान, मुख्य संरक्षक राव मान सिंह, प्रधान एस. हरभजन सिंह ने फरूखनगर क्षेत्र की कुछ मांगें भी रेलवे सलाहकार समिति सदस्य अमित गोयल से सांझा की। इसमें बताया गया कि डीईएमयू यात्री गाड़ी 04030/04901 च गाड़ी संख्या 04041/04042 को रविवार को भी चलाया जाए। यह 9 साल पुरानी मांग है।

तीसरी मांग में बताया कि फरूखनगर में स्थान के अभाव में ट्रेन नंबर-04041 को गढ़ी-हरसरू स्टेशन पर ही रद्द कर दिया जाता है, जिसे लोगों को परेशानी होती है। साथ ही ड्राइवर ईसीआर को दोनों तरफ सुल्तानपुर कालियावास पर नहीं रोक रहे।
पुरानी गाड़ी संख्या-74034/74035 को नया नंबर देकर नियमित तौर पर चलाया जाए। सुल्तानपुर कालियावास अप/डाउन में ठहराव किया जाए। क्योंकि पहले से ही 74035 का 74003 से लिंक दिया हुआ है। इससे काफी यात्रियों को सुविधा होगी।
ग्रामीणों ने कहा कि जीएचएच-एफएन खंड 12 किलोमीटर का दोहरीकरण कराया जाए, ताकि मालगाडिय़ों को सुचारू रूप से चलाया जा सके। रेलवे सलाहकार समिति के सदस्य अमित गोयल ने कहा कि दैनिक रेल यात्री संघ की ओर से दिए गए पत्र में शामिल मांगों पर सहानुभूति पूर्वक विचार करने के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों तक भेजा जाएगा, ताकि रेल यात्रियों को सुविधाएं मिल सकें।
