Viral Sach – गुरुग्राम : Bharat Vikas Parishad की `कल्पना चावला शाखा’ द्वारा राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय, खांडसा गांव, गुरुग्राम में नीम, पीपल, शीशम व सहजना के लगभग 30 पौधों का रोपण किया गया। इस दौरान शाखा के साथ `विद्यालय की प्राचार्या अपने सहयोगियों व विद्यार्थियों सहित सम्मिलित हुई।
इस शुभावसर पर सातवीं कक्षा के बच्चे ने अपने जन्मदिन पर पौधारोपण कर सभी बच्चों को उत्साहित भी किया। प्रधानाचार्या ने वृक्षारोपण का अर्थ समझाते हुए कहा कि वृक्ष हमें पर्याप्त भोजन और आश्रय ही नहीं देते बल्कि जल प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने और मिट्टी के क्षरण को रोकने में भी मदद करते हैं।
कुसुम गर्ग ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि वृक्षों को सुरक्षित रखना ही हमारा एकमात्र ध्येय होना चाहिए क्योंकि वन ही जीवन है । अंधाधुन्ध वृक्षों को काटने से प्रकृति का संतुलन बिगड़ जाएगा और पृथ्वी का संपूर्ण वातावरण दूषित और अशुद्ध हो जाएगा । ऐसे में ठीक से सांस लेना दुर्भर हो जाएगा ।
कार्यक्रम में कुसुम गर्ग, आदर्श, अर्चना गेरा, दुर्गश आदि ने प्रत्यक्ष रुप से भाग लिया तथा बाकी सदस्यों ने जूम पर उत्साह बढाया । विद्यालय से अन्य आचार्यों सहित श्री लखीराम जी का योगदान भी सराहनीय रहा।
पौधे पल्लवित व हरे भरे रहेंगे विद्यालय की ओर से ऐसा आश्वासन भी मिला। अन्त में शाखा की ओर से सभी को मोदक खिला कर मुंह मीठा कराया गया।

On this auspicious occasion, the class VII student enthused all the children by planting saplings on his birthday. Explaining the meaning of tree plantation, the Principal said that trees not only provide us enough food and shelter but also help in controlling water pollution and preventing soil erosion.
Kusum Garg said in her address that keeping trees safe should be our only aim because forest is life. Indiscriminate cutting of trees will upset the balance of nature and the entire environment of the earth will become contaminated and impure. In such a situation, it will be difficult to breathe properly.
Kusum Garg, Adarsh, Archana Gera, Durgash etc participated directly in the program and other members increased their enthusiasm on zoom. The contribution of Shri Lakhiram ji along with other teachers from the school was also commendable.
Saplings will remain flourishing and green, such an assurance was also received from the school. In the end everyone was made sweet by feeding Modak on behalf of the branch.
