Viral Sach : Bodhraj Sikri – 11वीं राष्ट्रीय ब्लाइंड एवं पैरा जूडो नेशनल चैंपियनशिप में हरियाणा टीम का प्रदर्शन काफी अच्छा रहा। हरियाणा के कुल 22 सदस्यों की टीम में 11 दिव्यांग खिलाड़ी जनता दृष्टिहीन पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, गुरुग्राम के रहे।
गुरुग्राम का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए, जनता दृष्टिहीन पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, गुरुग्राम के पदक जीतने वाले खिलाड़ियों के नाम एवं पदक इस प्रकार है:
जयदेव 90+ किग्रा (स्वर्ण पदक), साकिब 66 किग्रा (स्वर्ण पदक), दीपक कुमार 60 किग्रा (स्वर्ण पदक), मो.फैज 55 किग्रा (रजत पदक), पंकज यादव 73 किग्रा (रजत पदक)
खुशी की बात यह रही कि गुरुग्राम के दीपक कुमार 60 किग्रा भार वर्ग के सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी चुने गए जोकि कक्षा 12 के छात्र हैं। वहीं हरियाणा की सीनियर पुरुष वर्ग की टीम ने रनरअप ट्राफी भी जीती।
बता दें कि राष्ट्रीय ब्लाइंड जूडो प्रतियोगिता में जनता दृष्टिहीन पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, गुरुग्राम के 11 खिलाड़ियों ने भाग लिया था। ये सभी खिलाड़ी संस्था के छोटे से प्रांगण में ही जूडो का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करते हैं।
बीते वर्ष भी केन्द्र के 5 खिलाड़ियों ने विश्व चैंपियनशिप प्रतियोगिता (अजर बेजान) में भाग लेकर, न केवल भारतवर्ष का मान बढ़ाया बल्कि जनता दृष्टिहीन पुनर्वास प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र (गुरुग्राम) को भी लोगों की नजरों में लाने का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।
ये दिव्यांग खिलाड़ी पिछले 4 वर्ष से जूडो का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। इन्होंने स्कूल स्तर से शुरू करके अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर तक जूडो खेल की प्रतियोगिताएं खेली तथा अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर साबित किया की गुरुग्राम के सामान्य खिलाड़ियों की तरह ही ये दिव्यांग खिलाड़ी भी गुरुग्राम को पहचान दिलाने का माद्दा रखते हैं।
बोध राज सीकरी ने कहा कि गुरुग्राम खेलों की जननी है। यहां के खिलाड़ी राष्ट्रीय व अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर देश का नाम प्रदीप्त कर रहे हैं। भविष्य में ऐसे ही ऊर्जावान और योग्य युवा खिलाड़ी गुरुग्राम में तैयार हों, इसके लिए उन्हें समान अवसर देने की आवश्यकता है ताकि वें अपनी योग्यता अनुसार प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर गुरुग्राम को गौरवान्वित कर सकें।

It is a matter of pleasure that Deepak Kumar of Gurugram, who is a class 12 student, was adjudged the best player in the 60 kg weight category. And the senior men’s team from Haryana also won the runner-up trophy.
It may be mentioned that 11 players from Public Blind Rehabilitation Training Center, Gurugram participated in the National Blind Judo Competition. All these players receive Judo training in the small premises of the institution.
Last year also, 5 sportspersons of the center participated in the World Championship competition (Ajar Bejan), not only enhanced the glory of India, but also made an important contribution in bringing the Public Blind Rehabilitation Training Center (Gurugram) in the public eye.
These Divyang players are receiving Judo training for the last 4 years. Starting from the school level, he has played Judo sports competitions till the international level and has proved at the international level that like the normal players of Gurugram, these Divyang players also have the ability to give recognition to Gurugram.
Bodh Raj Sikri said that Gurugram is the mother of sports. The players here are bringing laurels to the country at the national and international level.
