वे रविवार को यहां द्रोणाचार्य कालेज में कैनविन आरोग्य धाम (मल्टीस्पेशलिटी चैरिटेबल हेल्थ केयर सेंटर) के उद्घाटन समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इससे पूर्व राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने न्यू रेलवे रोड स्थित कैनविन आरोग्य धाम का विधिवत रूप से उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने पूरे परिसर को गौर से देखा और वहां पर शुरू की जा रही स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की मुक्त कंठ से सराहना की।
इसके बाद राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय, महामंडलेश्वर स्वामी धर्मदेव, गुरुग्राम की पूर्व सांसद, भाजपा संसदीय बोर्ड सदस्य एवं केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति की सदस्य डा. सुधा यादव, राष्ट्रीय स्वयं सेवक संघ के प्रांतीय सह-संघचालक माननीय प्रताप जी, गुरुग्राम के सिविल सर्जन डा. वीरेंद्र यादव, द्रोणाचार्य कालेज के प्राचार्य वीरेंद्र अंतिल कालेज के खेल मैदान पर बनाए गए विशाल पंडाल में हजारों लोगों से खचाखच भरे पंडाल में मुख्य मंच पर पहुंचे।
राज्यपाल ने कहा कि कैनविन आरोग्य धाम अस्पताल का उद्घाटन करके उन्हें खुशी हो रही है। यहां गरीबों के लिए अच्छी सुविधाएं दी गई हैं। इसके लिए वे डीपी गोयल, नवीन गोयल का अभिनंदन करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम सब पैसा कमाते हैं और कमाना भी चाहिए।
लेकिन उस कमाई में से कुछ हिस्सा समाजसेवा में भी लगाना चाहिए। उन्होंने खुशी है कि गोयल परिवार स्वास्थ्य के रूप में ऐसे क्षेत्र में सेवा कर रहे हैं, जो आम व गरीब लोगों की जरूरत है। उन्होंने उनकी माता जी स्व. श्रीमती अंगूरी देवी जी को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए कहा कि माता जी की प्रेरणा से उन्होंने इस क्षेत्र में काम करने का संकल्प लिया।
कैनविन फाउंडेशन के उद्देश्य को रेखांकित करते हुए राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि यह संस्था पैसा कमाने के लिए नहीं बनी, सेवा के लिए बनी है। उनके यहां आने का कारण भी यही है। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षालय, चिकित्सालय और देवालय ये तीनों अच्छे होंगे तो देश अच्छा होगा।
