Viral Sach – गुरुग्राम। सामाजिक चिंतक एवं वरिष्ठ पत्रकार Ved Pratap Vaidik का निधन पत्रकारिता और वैश्य समाज के लिए गहरी क्षति है। उनका रिक्त स्थान कभी नहीं भरा जा सकेगा। प्रमुखता से अपनी बात को कहने वाले डा. वैदिक सदा अपने विचारों से समाज को एक नया रास्ता भी दिखाते रहे। यह बात अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज संस्था के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अशोक बुवानीवाला ने डा. वैदिक को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए कही।
अशोक बुवानीवाला ने बताया कि वे अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज के चार महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रमों में शामिल हुए। वर्ष 2009 में अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज संस्था का उद्घाटन उन्हीं के हाथों कराया गया।
पानीपत में लोकसभा स्तर पर वार्षिक समारोह में, हरिद्वार में अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज के प्रशिक्षण शिविर और रेवाड़ी में भारतेंदु अलंकार पत्रकार सम्मान समारोह में उन्होंने शिरकत की थी। वैश्य समाज की राजनीति में भागीदारी पर उन्होंने खूब वक्तव्य दिए। अग्रवाल वैश्य समाज को उनका जाना निजी क्षति है।
उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. वेदप्रताप वैदिक को उन अग्रदूतों में गिना जाता रहा है, जिन्होंने हिंदी को मौलिक चिंतन की भाषा बनाया। भारतीय भाषाओं को उनका उचित स्थान दिलाने के लिए सदा संघर्ष और त्याग करने का काम किया। महात्मा गांधी, महर्षि दयानंद और डा. राम मनोहर लोहिया की परम्परा को आगे बढ़ाने में डा. वैदिक जी सदा अग्रणी रही।
जवाहर लाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय से उन्होंने अंतरराष्ट्रीय राजनीति में पीएचडी भी की थी। उन्होंने अंतरराष्ट्रीय राजनीति का शोध ग्रंथ हिंदी में लिखकर अपनी हिंदी के प्रति गहरी सोच, प्रेम को जाहिर किया था। ऐसा करके वे भारत के ऐसे पहले विद्वान बने थे। अपने जीवनकाल में वे हजारों लेख और भाषण लिख चुके थे।
वे भारतीय और विदेशी को मिलाकर करीब 200 समाचार पत्रों में अपने जीवन के अंतिम समय तक भारतीय राजनीति और अंतरराष्ट्रीय राजनीति पर अपने लेख लिख रहे थे। झीलों की नगरी उदयपुर में उन्होंने देश-दुनिया के मन में अंतरराष्ट्रीय राजनीति को लेकर चल रहे सवालों के जवाब देकर वाहवाही लूटी थी।
डा. वेदप्रताप वैदिक देश के उन चुनिंदा पत्रकारों में से एक थे, जिन्हें अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्दों, देश के सियासी हालातों, समसामयिक ज्वलंत विषयों की गहरी समझ थी। उनकी भाषा शैली बेहद सरल व आम आदमी से जुड़ी हुई थी।
उनकी निर्भीकता का अनुमान इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि कुछ साल पहले वे पाकिस्तान में आतंकी सरगना, मुम्बई हमलों के मास्टर माइंड हाफिज सईद के घर तक पहुंच गए थे। हाफिज सईद से डा. वैदिक ने कई ऐसे सवाल पूछे जिसे पूछने की आज तक कोई हिम्मत नहीं कर पाया।

He said that Dr. Ved Pratap Vaidik has been counted among those pioneers who made Hindi the language of fundamental thought. Always worked for struggle and sacrifice to get Indian languages their proper place. Dr. Vaidik ji was always leading in carrying forward the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi, Maharishi Dayanand and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia.
He also did PhD in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He expressed his deep thinking and love for Hindi by writing a research book on international politics in Hindi. By doing this he became the first such scholar of India. He had written thousands of articles and speeches during his lifetime.
He was writing his articles on Indian politics and international politics till the end of his life in about 200 newspapers including Indian and foreign. In Udaipur, the city of lakes, he won accolades by giving answers to the questions going on in the mind of the country and the world regarding international politics.
Dr. Ved Pratap Vaidik was one of the few journalists in the country, who had a deep understanding of international issues, the political situation of the country, contemporary burning topics. His language style was very simple and connected to the common man.
His fearlessness can be gauged from the fact that a few years ago he had reached the house of Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the Mumbai attacks, in Pakistan. Dr. Vaidik asked Hafiz Saeed many such questions which no one could dare to ask till date.
