Viral Sach : दक्षिण हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम द्वारा बिजली चोरी पकड़ने का अभियान जारी है। इस अभियान से बिजली निगम को टेक्निकल एवं डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन लॉस (टी एंड डी) कम करने में सहायता मिली है। निगम के प्रबंध निदेशक PC Meena ने बताया कि चालू वित वर्ष 2022-23 में गत माह तक 79.13 करोड़ रुपए की बिजली चोरी पकड़ी जा चुकी है।
बिजली चोरी कर रहे उपभोक्ताओं द्वारा जुर्माने के 48.08 करोड़ रुपए जमा किए जा चुके है। उन्होंने बताया कि वर्तमान वित्त वर्ष में लगाये गए जुर्माना में से 60 प्रतिशत से अधिक राशि वसूली जा चुकी है।
इस अभियान में बिजली निगम की संयुक्त जांच टीम द्वारा 71787 उपभोक्ताओं के मीटरों को चेक किया गया है जिसमें से 20568 बिजली उपभोक्ता चोरी करते हुए पकड़े गए। इनके खिलाफ 20038 एफआईआर दर्ज करवाई गई हैं।
प्रबंध निदेशक ने बताया कि बिजली चोरी का बकाया जुर्माना जिन्होंने अभी तक जमा नहीं किया है रिकवरी के लिए उन उपभोक्ताओं पर पुलिस एवं कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
दक्षिण हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम ने वितरण प्रणाली में तकनीकी सुधार कर और चोरी का पता लगाकर तकनीकी और वितरण हानियों को काफी कम किया है। निगम टी एंड डी घाटे को रोकने के लिए बहुआयामी दृष्टिकोण अपना रहा है। मौजूदा वितरण नेटवर्क का तकनीकी संवर्धन, तकनीकी नुकसान को कम करने के लिए एचटी से एलटी अनुपात बढ़ाना और एचटी लाइनों को बढ़ाकर चोरी को रोकना है। ज्यादा हानि वाले फीडरों पर गहन और लक्षित चोरी का पता लगाने का अभियान जारी है।
प्रबंध निदेशक पीसी मीणा ने कहा कि बिजली चोरी करना कानूनन अपराध है। बिजली चोरी पर जुर्माना और सजा का प्रावधान है। इसे खत्म करने में सभी का सहयोग अपेक्षित है। दक्षिण हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम द्वारा बिजली चोरी को रोकने के लिए एक XYZ पोर्टल भी बनाया गया है।
