कार्यक्रम में श्री अनिल बंसल (अध्यक्ष, भारत विकास परिषद, दक्षिण हरियाणा), श्री विवेकानंद तिवारी (उपाध्यक्ष, भारत विकास परिषद, दक्षिण हरियाणा) और श्री अरुण अग्रवाल ने अपना मार्गदर्शन दिया। परिषद में पहले सत्तर सदस्य थे। कल मुख्य संरक्षक बोधराज सीकरी ने लगभग पचीस और सदस्यों को शपथ दिलवाई।
इस दौरान अनिल बंसल ने परिषद के संकल्प और ध्येय पर चर्चा की। अन्य गणमान्य अतिथियों में ओम कथूरिया (ओम स्वीट), विद्या सागर दीवान उद्योगपति व अन्य दायित्वधारियों के साथ पहले ज्योत प्रज्वलित की गई। उसके उपरांत राष्ट्र गीत गाकर कार्यक्रम प्रारम्भ हुआ और राष्ट्र गान से समापन हुआ।
उसके उपरांत कार्यक्रम में स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा गणेश वंदना और हरियाणवी लोक गीत को नृत्य के साथ प्रस्तुत किया गया। श्रीमती नीलम वत्स ने राजस्थानी लोक नृत्य घूमर किया।
उसके उपरांत कार्यक्रम का केंद्र बिंदु बना पंजाबी गिद्दा जो की शाखा की प्रमुख महिलाओं द्वारा किया गया, जिसमें श्रीमती सुरेश सीकरी, सोनिया सचदेवा, विनु छाबरा, अशिमा भार्गव, सीमा चावला, सोनिया चावला, पूनम सचदेवा, नीलम वत्स, कपिला अग्रवाल, सोनू जैन, प्रीति भाटिया ने हिस्सा लिया। सभी अतिथिगणों में अत्याधिक उत्साह के कारण दो बार पंजाबी गिद्दा किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में प्रधान राजीव छाबड़ा ने पूरे वर्ष की उपलब्धि बताई और कोषाध्यक्ष रमेश नरूला ने पूरे वर्ष का आय-व्यय का हिसाब दिया। सचिव सतीश चावला ने भी अपना मार्गदर्शन दिया।
