गुरुग्राम – Gurugram – हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने गुरुग्राम में सफाई व्यवस्था को और दुरुस्त करते हुए वीरवार को 50 नए डोर-टू-डोर कचरा एकत्रित करने वाले वाहनों को हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इन्हें मिलाकर वाहनों की संख्या 500 से अधिक हो गई है।
उल्लेखनीय है कि नगर निगम गुरुग्राम क्षेत्र में डोर-टू-डोर कचरा उठान सहित सफाई व्यवस्था को बेहतर करने के लिए युद्ध स्तर पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। इसके तहत एक ओर जहां वाहनों व मशीनरी की संख्या दिन-प्रतिदिन बढ़ाई जा रही है, वहीं दूसरी ओर निगम क्षेत्र के सभी वार्डों में सफाई व्यवस्था की बेहतर निगरानी के लिए 19 एचसीएस अधिकारियों को जिम्मेदारी सौंपी हुई है।
गुरुग्राम में सरकार द्वारा लागू ठोस कचरा पर्यावरण आवश्यकता कार्यक्रम (स्वीप) के तहत जारी विशेष स्वच्छता अभियान के दौरान विभिन्न स्थानों पर बने गारबेज वर्नेबल प्वाइंट साफ किए गए हैं तथा दिन-प्रतिदिन सफाई व्यवस्था बेहतर हो रही है। इसके साथ ही सेकेंडरी कचरा कलेक्शन प्वाइंटों से भी कचरा उठान तेज गति से किया जा रहा है। इसके तहत खांडसा व वाटिका चौक स्थित सेकेंडरी कलेक्शन प्वाइंटों को जीरो गारबेज करते हुए अब नियमित कचरा उठान सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है।
इलेक्ट्रिक डोर-टू-डोर वाहनों से पर्यावरण संरक्षण का रखा जा रहा ध्यान
नगर निगम गुरुग्राम द्वारा डोर-टू-डोर कचरा कलेक्शन व्यवस्था में अधिक से अधिक इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों को शामिल किया जा रहा है, ताकि पर्यावरण प्रदूषित ना हो। वीरवार को मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा शुरू करवाए गए सभी वाहन इलेक्ट्रिक हैं। इससे एक ओर जहां घर-घर से कचरा एकत्रित करने के कार्य में तेजी आएगी, वहीं दूसरी ओर पर्यावरण संरक्षण भी होगा।
कपड़ा थैला वेंडिंग मशीन का भी किया शुभारंभ
इसके अतिरिक्त, मुख्यमंत्री ने सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक व पॉलीथिन कैरीबैग मुक्त गुरुग्राम अभियान के तहत कपड़ा थैला बैग वेंडिंग मशीन का भी शुभारंभ किया। ये मशीनें आने वाले समय में गुरुग्राम के विभिन्न सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर लगाई जाएंगी। मशीन में 10 रुपये का सिक्का डालकर या यूपीआई के माध्यम से भी कपड़े का थैला प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।
इससे नागरिकों में सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक व पॉलीथिन कैरी बैग मुक्त गुरुग्राम बनाने के लिए प्रेरणा मिलेगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने सेनेटरी पैड वेंडिंग मशीन का भी शुभारंभ किया। मशीन से नए पैड प्राप्त करने के साथ ही उपयोग किए गए पैड को डिस्पॉज ऑफ भी किया जा सकेगा।
इस मौके पर गुरुग्राम मंडल के आयुक्त आरसी बिढ़ान, पुलिस आयुक्त विकास अरोड़ा, उपायुक्त निशांत कुमार यादव, निगमायुक्त डॉ. नरहरि सिंह बांगड़, अतिरिक्त निगमायुक्त डा. बलप्रीत सिंह, संयुक्त आयुक्त (स्वच्छ भारत मिशन) डा. नरेश कुमार सहित कई गणमान्य व्यक्ति एवं अधिकारीगण उपस्थित थे।

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram is including as many electric vehicles as possible in the door-to-door garbage collection system, so that the environment is not polluted. All the vehicles launched by the Chief Minister on Thursday are electric. On one hand, this will speed up the work of collecting garbage from every house, on the other hand, it will also protect the environment.
Cloth bag vending machine also inaugurated
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the cloth bag vending machine under the Single Use Plastic and Polythene Carry Bag Free Gurugram Campaign. These machines will be installed at various public places in Gurugram in the coming time. A cloth bag can also be obtained by inserting a coin of Rs 10 in the machine or through UPI.
This will inspire citizens to make Gurugram free of single use plastic and polythene carry bags. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the sanitary pad vending machine. Along with getting new pads from the machine, the used pads can also be disposed off.
On this occasion, Gurugram Divisional Commissioner RC Bidhan, Police Commissioner Vikas Arora, Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr. Balpreet Singh, Joint Commissioner (Swachh Bharat Mission) Dr. Naresh Kumar and many other dignitaries and officials were present.
