विधायक सुधीर सिंगला ने भी इस बात को काफी गंभीरता से लेते हुए मौके पर ही फोन के माध्यम से नगर निगम आयुक्त से बात की। विधायक ने कहा कि अगर जनता का विरोध है तो टावर नहीं लगना चाहिए। इस पर निगमायुक्त ने सकारात्मक आश्वासन दिया।
मंगत राम बागड़ी और शीतल बागड़ी ने इसके लिए विधायक सुधीर सिंगला को जनता की तरफ से हृदय से धन्यवाद दिया। बागड़ी ने विधायक को सौंपे मांग पत्र में उल्लेख किया है कि वार्ड 10 अंतर्गत लक्ष्मण विहार में खतौनी नंबर 448, 11001/2959 स्थित विजेंद्र सिंह मोर के घर के छत के ऊपर मोबाइल टावर लगाने की स्वीकृति जिला उपायुक्त के माध्यम से मिली है। इसकी जानकारी प्राप्त होने के बाद विजेंद्र सिंह मोर के घर के आसपास के नागरिकों द्वारा इसका भारी विरोध किया जा रहा है।
कई लोगों ने पार्षद कार्यालय पर इसकी शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। लोगों का कहना है कि मोबाइल टावर स्वास्थ्य को नुकसान पहुंचाएगा। लोगों द्वारा मांग की जा रही है कि टावर न लगाया जाए।
बागड़ी ने विधायक को यह भी बताया कि हमने नगर निगम सदन में 31 जुलाई 2001 को लिखित रूप से जानकारी दी थी कि लक्ष्मण विहार में मोबाइल टावर लगाए जाने का विरोध किया जा रहा है। हमने जनहित में मोबाइल टावर न लगाने की मांग रखी थी।
इसे नगर निगम द्वारा स्वीकार करते हुए लिखित रूप में बताया गया कि अगर विशेष परिस्थितियों में टावर के लिए आवेदन प्राप्त होता है तो पहले निर्धारित स्थल से 500 मीटर की परिधि में रहने वाले नागरिकों से सहमति लेने के बाद ही टावर लगाने की स्वीकृति प्रदान की जाएगी, लेकिन बिना लोगों से पूछे उक्त स्थल पर टावर लगाने की अनुमति दे दी गई।
लोगों का कहना है कि मोबाइल टावर से होने वाले रेडिएशन के कारण स्वास्थ्य प्रभावित होगा। बागड़ी ने कहा कि हम वार्ड 10 के विकास और क्षेत्र के नागरिकों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने के प्रति संकल्पित हैं। हमारे लिए जनता का हित सर्वोपरि है।

Accepting this by the Municipal Corporation, it was told in writing that if the application for the tower is received under special circumstances, then approval will be given to install the tower only after taking consent from the citizens living within 500 meters radius from the first designated site. , But permission was given to install the tower at the said site without asking the people.
