गुरुग्राम। Municipal Corporation Gurugram – ठोस कचरा पर्यावरण आवश्यकता कार्यक्रम (स्वीप) के तहत चल रहे विशेष स्वच्छता अभियान से गुरुग्राम को दिन-प्रतिदिन स्वच्छ बनाया जा रहा है। पिछले दो माह से जिला प्रशासन व नगर निगम के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों सहित स्वच्छता टीमें अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में लगातार सफाई कार्य में जुटी हुई हैं। अभियान के तहत सडक़ों, ग्रीन बैल्ट, गलियों, खाली प्लाटों, गार्बेज वर्नेबल प्वाइंटों सहित सेकेंडरी कचरा कलेक्शन प्वाइंटों से नियमित कचरा उठाकर सफाई व्यवस्था दुरुस्त की जा रही है।
नगर निगम गुरुग्राम के आयुक्त डा. नरहरि सिंह बांगड़ के अनुसार गार्बेज वर्नेबल स्थानों को कचरा मुक्त करके वहां पर चूना डालकर गार्बेज ट्रॉली खडी की जा रही हैं, ताकि जमीन पर कचरा ना फैले।इसी प्रकार सेकेंडरी कचरा कलेक्शन प्वाइंटों को कवर करने के साथ ही प्रतिदिन आने वाले कचरे का नियमित उठान सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है।
इधर-उधर बिखरी पॉलीथीन को समेटकर पर्याप्त स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए निगम क्षेत्र में रैग-पिकर्स लगाए गए हैं। इन रैग-पिकर्स को उनके द्वारा जमा की गई पॉलीथीन के साथ-साथ 500 रूपए अतिरिक्त दिया जा रहा है, ताकि वे अपना व अपने परिवार का बेहतर ढंग से पालन-पोषण कर सकें। डोर-टू-डोर कचरा एकत्रित व्यवस्था को और अधिक बेहतर बनाने के लिए वाहनों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ाई जा रही है तथा इस व्यवस्था में 1200 वाहन लगाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
निगमायुक्त ने कहा कि सफाई व्यवस्था बेहतर करने के साथ ही ऐसे व्यक्तियों पर भी कार्रवाई की जा रही है, जो कचरा डालकर गंदगी फैलाते हैं। निगम टीमों द्वारा व्यवस्था को खराब करने वाले दुकानदारों, रेहड़ी-पटरी वालों सहित अवैध कचरा फैंकने वाले वाहनों पर लगातार कार्रवाई जारी है। उन्होंने नागरिकों से स्वच्छ, सुंदर व बेहतर गुरुग्राम बनाने की दिशा में सहभागिता करने का आह्वान किया।
साथ ही निगम क्षेत्र में स्थित सभी बल्क वेस्ट जनरेटरों से भी कहा है कि वे अपने यहां से निकलने वाले कचरे का निस्तारण करने की जिम्मेदारी का पालन करें। ठोस कचरा प्रबंधन नियम-2016 के तहत सभी बीडब्ल्यूजी की यह जिम्मेदारी है कि वे अपने कचरे के निस्तारण की व्यवस्था स्वयं करें। अगर कोई ऐसा नहीं करता है, तो उस पर नियमानुसार जुर्माना लगाकर वसूली की जा रही है।

For the last two months, cleanliness teams including senior officials of the district administration and the Municipal Corporation are continuously engaged in cleaning work in their respective areas. Under the campaign, the cleanliness system is being improved by regularly picking up garbage from roads, green belts, streets, empty plots, garbage vulnerable points as well as secondary garbage collection points.
According to Dr. Narhari Singh Bangar, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Gurugram, garbage trolleys are being parked there by making garbage free by putting lime there, so that garbage does not spread on the ground. Similarly, along with covering the secondary garbage collection points, regular lifting of the garbage coming every day is being ensured.
Rag-pickers have been deployed in the corporation area to ensure adequate cleanliness by collecting the scattered polythene here and there. These rag-pickers are being given an additional Rs 500 along with the polythene collected by them, so that they can take care of themselves and their families in a better way. To further improve the door-to-door garbage collection system, the number of vehicles is being continuously increased and a target of deploying 1200 vehicles has been set in this system.
The Municipal Commissioner said that along with improving the cleanliness system, action is also being taken against those people who spread dirt by throwing garbage. The corporation teams are continuously taking action against shopkeepers, hawkers and vehicles throwing illegal garbage, who spoil the system. He called upon the citizens to participate in making Gurugram clean, beautiful and better.
Along with this, all the bulk waste generators located in the corporation area have also been asked to fulfill their responsibility of disposing of the garbage coming out from their place. Under the Solid Waste Management Rules-2016, it is the responsibility of all BWGs to make arrangements for the disposal of their waste on their own. If someone does not do so, then fines are imposed on them as per the rules and recovery is being done.
