आटो चालक महिपाल, मुकेश चंद, रामपाल, अजय कुमार, कैलाश सिंह, विनोद, धन सिंह, मनोज कुमार, हरबीर सिंह, वीरेंद्र, नागेंद्र कुमार, अजय प्रधान, सत्तर हुसैन को ऑटो चालक के रूप में ईमानदारी का परिचय देते हुए ऑटो में भूले यात्रियों का कोई ना कोई सामान लौटाने के लिए सम्मानित किया गया।
इस दौरान आटो चालकों ने ऑटो स्टैंड की मांग नवीन गोयल के समक्ष रखी। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि वे उनकी मांग को सरकार तक पहुंचाएंगे।
ऑटो चालकों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने के प्रति प्रेरित करते हुए नवीन गोयल ने कहा कि प्रतिदिन के कार्यों के लिए एक जगह से दूसरी जगह जाने या सामान की आवाजाही के लिए हर शहर में ऑटो एक महत्वपूर्ण साधन है।
ऐसे में सभी आटो चालक यातायात के लिए निर्धारित नियमों को जरूर मानें। यातायात नियमों के उल्लंघन से ना सिर्फ अपने जीवन को, बल्कि दूसरे नागरिकों की जान को भी खतरे में डालते हैं। यातायात के नियमों का पालन करके अपने व दूसरों के जीवन को हमें सुरक्षित करना चाहिए।
श्री गोयल ने कहा कि हमेशा निर्धारित लेन में ही वाहन चलाएं। शॉर्टकट या जल्दबाजी के चक्कर में अगर अपनी लेन बदलते हैं तो दुर्घटना होने का अंदेशा बढ़ जाता है। हॉर्न भी बेवजह ना बजाएं, इससे ध्वनि प्रदूषण भी बढ़ जाता है।
नवीन गोयल ने ऑटो चालकों को आटो की गति भी धीमी रखने को कहा। इस अवसर पर प्रदेश महामंत्री योगेश शर्मा, ग्लेरिया स्टैंड के प्रधान कबरूद्दीन, कोषाध्यक्ष नवीन कुमार, मो. अंजरुल, मनिरूल प्रधान, संजू प्रधान, पंकज, सनोज व हरियाणा ऑटो चालक संघ के अन्य सदस्य उपस्थित रहे।
