इस अवसर पर नवीन गोयल ने कहा कि किसी भी समाज का मुखिया होना एक व्यक्ति के लिए बहुत बड़ी जिम्मेदारी होती है। समाज को एकजुट रखना भी मुखिया का दायित्व होता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हर समाज के उत्थान के लिए व्यक्ति समाजसेवा में आगे आकर काम कर रहे हैं। सभी अपने काम को बेहतरी से करें, इसके लिए समाज को सदा साथ लेकर चलें।
समाज के मौजिज लोगों से सलाह करें। सबसे विशेष है कि समाज के बुजुर्गों का सदा सम्मान करें, ताकि उनका आर्शीवाद भी हमें मिलता रहा। समाज में बुजुर्ग उस पेड़ की तरह होते हैं जो फल भले ही ना दें, लेकिन छाया जरूर देते हैं।
नवीन गोयल ने कहा कि राजनीति और सामाजिक एक-दूसरे के पूरक हैं। समाजसेवा करने वाले व्यक्ति भी राजनीति में आकर अच्छी समाजसेवा कर सकते हैं। समाज को आगे बढ़ाने, समाज में अच्छे बदलाव लाने के लिए हमें आगे आना भी चाहिए। जब तक हम खुद प्रयास नहीं करेंगे, बदलाव नहीं आ सकता।
नवीन गोयल ने कहा कि सामाजिक कार्य एक अनुशासन का काम होता है, जिसमें किसी की बुनियादी जरूरतों को पूरा करना महत्वपूर्ण होता है। सामाजिक कार्य सामाजिक परिवर्तन, विकास, सामंजस्य और लोगों के सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ावा देता है। समाज कार्य में मानव विकास, आर्थिक मदद और सांस्कृतिक मूल्यों को बढ़ावा देना शामिल है।
जांगिड़ ब्राह्मण समाज के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष अनिल जांगिड़ ने नवीन गोयल की प्रेरणा से इत्तेफाक रखते हुए कहा कि संस्था द्वारा हर व्यक्ति सामाजिक कार्य के जरिये लोगों और उनके परिवारों को उनकी विभिन्न समस्याओं से निपटने में मदद करने का प्रयास किया जाता है।
