शिविर का शुभारंभ बिल्डिंग प्रबंधक प्रदीप छोकर व बिल्डिंग अग्निशमन अधिकारी तथा सुरक्षा अधिकारी रविन्द्र डबास ने किया। शिविर को सफल बनाने में रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी टीम से कविता सरकार, भीम शर्मा, सिविल अस्पताल ब्लड बैंक टीम, संत भगत सिंह जी महाराज चैरिटेबल फरीदाबाद ब्लड बैंक की टीम और रक्त दाताओं का विशेष योगदान रहा।
सचिव विकास कुमार ने कहा कि रक्तदान अधिक से अधिक किया जाना चाहिए। हर क्षेत्र में कार्यरत व्यक्ति अपनी पूर्ण जांच कराकर नियमों के मुताबिक रक्तदान कर सकते है। युवा पीढ़ी इस नेक कार्य के लिए सदा तैयार रहे।
हर तीन महीने में रक्त की पूर्ति हो जाती है और रक्त फिर से दान किया जा सकता है। इससे किसी भी तरह कमजोरी नहीं आती। उन्होंने कहा कि रक्त दान को लेकर फैलाई जा रही भ्रांतियों पर ध्यान ना देकर समाजहित में हमें रक्तदान करना चाहिए।
इस अवसर पर सिविल अस्पताल गुरुग्राम ब्लड बैंक टीम से डाक्टर प्रियंका गोस्वामी, डॉ रुपाली, सुरक्षा काउंसलर, अन्ना कुमार साहा तथा संत भगत सिंह जी महाराज चैरिटेबल फरीदाबाद ब्लड बैंक की टीम से कैम्प इंचार्ज बिनित कुमार, डॉ गीता खुराना तथा रक्त दाताओं आदि का विशेष योगदान मिला।
