प्रदर्शन के दौरान पंकज डावर ने कहा कि भाजपा की सरकार अब तानाशाही रवैया अपना रही है जिसको लेकर जब चाहे डीजल पेट्रोल के दाम या फिर रसोई गैस के दाम व अन्य खाद्य सामग्री के दामों में बढ़ोतरी कर रही है।
भाजपा शासनकाल में लोगों को दो वक्त की रोटी भी नसीब नहीं हो पा रही है। पंकज डावर ने कहा कि कांग्रेस के कार्यकर्ता आम जनता की समस्याओं को लेकर लगातार प्रदर्शन करते रहे हैं, आज महंगाई के दौर में आम जनता की मांग को लेकर हम प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं और यह प्रदर्शन आगे भी इसी तरह जारी रहेगा।
प्रदर्शन के दौरान सभी कार्यकर्ताओं ने मिलकर सोहना चौक पर गैस सिलेंडर और स्कूटी पर माला फूल चढ़ाकर तेल और गैस के बढ़ाए गए दामों का विरोध जताया और भाजपा सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की।
