इस मौके पर कांग्रेसियों ने कहा कि पहले के जमाने में मुसद्दी लाल के किस्से सुनते थे जिसमें कहा जाता था कि फोन लगा नहीं और बिल हजारों का आ गया वही हाल गुरुग्राम शहर का है।
यह नगर निगम और गुरुग्राम ट्रैफिक पुलिस मिलकर रोजाना हजारों वाहनों को अवैध पार्किंग के नाम पर चालान करती है, उसे अपने कब्जे में लेती है। पुलिस प्रशासन ऐसे वाहनों को तब तक नहीं छोड़ते जब तक उन्हें पूरे चालान की राशि नहीं मिल जाती।
कांग्रेसी नेताओं का कहना है कि शहर में नगर निगम ने जब वैध पार्किंग बनाई ही नहीं है फिर किस बिनाह पर जहां वाहन खड़े होते हैं, उस जगह को निगम अवैध पार्किंग बताती है।
कांग्रेसी नेताओं का कहना है कि गुरुग्राम शहर में तब तक अवैध पार्किंग के नाम पर चालान नहीं होने चाहिए जब तक नगर निगम यहां वैध पार्किंग की व्यवस्था नहीं करती है। कांग्रेसी नेताओं ने कहा कि भाजपा की सरकार ने एक बार नहीं बल्कि कई बार गुरुग्राम की जनता को पार्किंग बनाने के नाम पर गुमराह किया, लेकिन आज तक शहर में कोई भी सरकारी पार्किंग नहीं बन पाई, जिसके कारण लोगों को अपने निजी कार्यों के लिए वाहनों को इधर-उधर खड़ा करना पड़ता है।
ऐसे में लोगों की मजबूरी का फायदा नगर निगम और पुलिस प्रशासन उठाते हुए वाहन मालिकों से अवैध रूप से कमाई का जरिया बनाने का कार्य करते हैं। उनकी मांग है कि निगम जब पार्किंग निर्माण करें उसके बाद ही अवैध पार्किंग के नाम पर वाहनों पर कार्रवाई करें।
