केंद्रीय मंत्री सोमवार को रामपुरा स्थित निवास पर जन समस्याओं की सुनवाई कर रहे थे। उन्होंने दिल्ली रोड स्थित एनएच 71 के नीचे बनाए जाने वाले सीमेंटेड रोड की अधिकारियों से रिपोर्ट तलब की।
एनएचएआई के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि दिल्ली रोड पर रिपेयरिंग के लिए तीसरी बार टेंडर आमंत्रित किया गया है जिसको फाइनल किया जा रहा है। इससे पूर्व दो बार टेंडर आमंत्रित करने पर केवल दो ही व्यक्ति टेंडर के लिए आए थे जिसमें तकनीकी आधार पर टेंडर नहीं दिया जा सकता था।
शहर की बंद पड़ी लाइटों के बारे में भी पार्षदों द्वारा की गई शिकायत के बाद केंद्रीय मंत्री ने उपायुक्त को निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे नगर परिषद व पीडब्ल्यूडी विभाग के बीच चल रहे विवाद को एक सप्ताह के भीतर हल करवा कर शहर के विभिन्न रोड पर लगी लाइटों को चलाना सुनिश्चित करें।
केंद्रीय मंत्री को सेक्टर 3 आरडब्लूए ने धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने वर्षों पुरानी समस्या को हल कराकर सेक्टर वासियों को राहत देने का कार्य किया है। आरडब्ल्यूए ने केंद्रीय मंत्री का आभार जताते हुए कहा कि शहर की समस्याओं को हल करवाने के लिए केंद्रीय मंत्री का प्रयास लगातार जारी है।
पाली अंडरपास फाटक व धबाना गांव के लोगों ने एनएचएआई से आ रही समस्याओं को उठाते हुए कहा कि उनकी समस्या का हल करवाया जाए। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने एनएचएआई के रेवाड़ी परियोजना निदेशक कौशिक को जल्दी दोनों मौकों पर जाकर समस्या हल के निर्देश दिए हैं।
राव ने कहा कि शहर की यातायात समस्या को हल करने के लिए निर्माणाधीन आउटर बाईपास का कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है और जल्दी ही वे दौरा भी करेंगे। रेवाड़ी -नारनौल राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग का कार्य कुछ ही महीनों में पूरा होने जा रहा जिसके बाद से यातायात सुगम हो सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि भाड़ावास फाटक पर फ्लाईओवर बनाने के लिए कार्य शुरू हो चुका है और जल्दी रेलवे की ओर से भी कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा।
