इस मौके पर पूर्व मंत्री कैप्टन अजय यादव समेत कांग्रेस के अन्य पदाधिकारी भी मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम की जानकारी देते हुए पंकज डावर ने बताया कि बीते 7 साल से गुरुग्राम में कर्मचारियों के साथ भेदभाव व पर राजनीतिक षड्यंत्र के तहत कार्य किया जा रहा है।
गौरव टांक प्रदेश के सफाई कर्मचारियों के प्रधान हैं, इनके यूनियन में 500 से अधिक पदाधिकारी शामिल है। पंकज डावर में बताया कि इसी साल निगम के सैकड़ों सफाई कर्मियों को हटाकर दूसरे कर्मचारियों को काम पर रख लिया गया था जिसकी मांग को लेकर बीते कुछ महीनों तक सभी कर्मचारी धरने पर नगर निगम के बाहर बैठे थे।
कांग्रेस की ओर से इन सभी कर्मचारियों की मांग का समर्थन किया गया था और सभी कर्मचारियों को बहाल करने की मांग भी की गई थी जिस पर निगम प्रशासन की ओर से लिखित में कर्मचारियों की बहाली का आश्वासन देकर धरना खत्म करा दिया गया था और 15 से 20 दिन के अंदर सभी कर्मचारियों की बहाली की बात की गई थी, लेकिन भाजपा के कुछ नेताओं के दबाव और कुछ भ्रष्टाचारी अधिकारियों के कारण अब तक कर्मचारियों को बहाल नहीं किया गया है।
पंकज डावर ने कहा कि कांग्रेस सभी कर्मचारियों के साथ है। निगम प्रशासन की ओर से अगर कर्मचारियों को जल्द बहाल नहीं किया गया तो इस मुद्दे को लेकर अब कांग्रेस नौकरी से हटाए गए सभी कर्मचारियों के साथ सड़कों पर उतरेगी और बड़ा प्रदर्शन करेगी जिसके लिए किसी की घटना के लिए खुद निगम प्रशासन ही जिम्मेदार होगा।
