जिसमें शमशान घाट को निरस्त करने पर मुहर लगा दी गई। अब इसके लिए नई जगह की तलाश की जा रही है। कई साइट्स को देखा जा चुका है। जल्द ही इस पर निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
विधायक सुधीर सिंगला ने कहा कि जनहित के मुद्दों पर सरकार हमेशा सकारात्मक सोच के साथ कार्य करती है। वजीराबाद में शमशान घाट बनाने का प्रोजेक्ट निरस्त करना इसी सोच को दर्शाता है कि सरकार ने जनता की आवाज को सुना और उस पर निर्णय लिया।
उन्होंने कहा कि इस साल 15 जनवरी से वजीराबाद गांव के साथ में इस शमशान घाट के विरोध में ग्रामीणों का धरना जारी है। करीब 6 एकड़ जमीन पर सभी धर्मों के लोगों के लिए यह शमधान घाट बनाया जा रहा है।
इसके विरोध में दिए गए धरने पर वे स्वयं भी गए थे और ग्रामीणों की बात को ध्यानपूर्वक सुनकर सरकार तक पहुंचाया। जनता को भविष्य में होने वाली परेशानियों से भी अवगत कराया। मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने आश्वासन दिया था कि इस पर जनहित में ठोस निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
विधायक सुधीर सिंगला के मुताबिक शनिवार को गुरुग्राम पहुंचे मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के साथ बैठक में केंद्रीय मंत्री राव इंद्रजीत ङ्क्षसह और स्वयं उन्होंने इस मुद्दे पर बात की थी। अधिकारियों के साथ मंत्रणा करके मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने इसे अन्य जगह पर स्थानांतरित करने पर विचार भी किया।
आखिरकार इसे शिफ्ट करने पर मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल की मुहर लग चुकी है। साथ ही अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि इस शमशान घाट की शिफ्टिंग को दूसरी जगह की तलाश की जाए। जगह ऐसी हो जहां पर आबादी अधिक ना हो और किसी को इससे परेशानी ना हो। इसका विशेष ध्यान रखा जाए।
विधायक सुधीर सिंगला ने कहा कि ग्रामीणों की इस मांग को सरकार ने मान लिया है। ग्रामीणों की भावनाओं का सरकार ने ख्याल रखा है। उन्होंने ग्रामीणों की मांग को प्रमुखता से मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के समक्ष रखा। सरकार का शुरू से ही इस पर सकारात्मक रुख था। अब सरकार ने इसे निरस्त करके अपनी मंशा साफ कर दी है कि वह जनहित का विशेष ख्याल रखती है। ग्रामीण अब अपना धरना समाप्त करके मुख्यधारा में लौटें।
