Viral Sach – गुरुग्राम। विश्व स्वास्थ्य दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में जिला Red Cross Society की ओर से स्वास्थ्य शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। सूर्या विहार में लगाए गए शिविर में लोगों की टीबी की जांच की गई। साथ ही एचआईवी से बचाव के लिए जागरुक किया गया।
जिला रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी के सचिव विकास कुमार ने बताया कि इस शिविर में प्रवासी 80 मजदूरों की टीबी की स्क्रीनिंग की गई, जिनमें से 2 लोग टीबी ग्रस्त पाए गए। इसके अलावा 60 लोगों की अन्य मेडिकल जांच की गई।
निशुल्क दवाइयां भी वितरित की गई। तीन लोगों को एसटीआई के उपचार के लिए दवाइयां दी गई। टीआई प्रोजेक्ट में ओआरडब्ल्यू सुषमा रानी व विनीता पीटर की भी शिविर में भूमिका रही। कैम्प में एस्टर फाउंडेशन का सहयोग मिला।
जिला रेड क्रॉस सचिव विकास कुमार ने कहा कि रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी द्वारा समय-समय पर इस तरह के शिविर लगाए जाते हैं, ताकि समाज के हर उस व्यक्ति तक उपचार पहुंचे मुख्यधारा से कटा हुआ है। आम तौर पर मजदूर तबके तक स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं पहुंचाने में कठिनाई आती है।
इसलिए रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी स्वास्थ्य विभाग और आम जनता के बीच सेतु का काम करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला उपायुक्त निशांत कुमार यादव के मार्गदर्शन एवं अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त विश्राम कुमार मीणा के दिशा-निर्देशों में रेड क्रास जनहित के काम करता है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि हम सबको स्वयं भी अपनी सेहत के प्रति जागरुक रहना चाहिए। जिस क्षेत्र में स्वास्थ्य को अधिक खतरा हो, उस क्षेत्र में काम करने वाले अपनी जांच समय-समय पर करवाते रहें।
