ध्वनि प्रदुषण जागरूकता के बारे में ईएनटी एसोसिएशन गुड़गांव अध्यक्ष डॉ सारिका वर्मा ने बताया भारत के शहरों में ध्वनि के लेवल WHO के बताए गए स्तर से हजार गुना ज्यादा हैl इसकी वजह से बहरापन बड्ड रहा है, साथ में हृदय और मानसिक रोग भी बढ़ते हैंl बहरापन और कान में शोर से परेशान होकर बहुत लोग डॉक्टर्स के पास पहुंच रेह हैंl
इस साल हमारा लोगों को यह संदेश है बिना हॉर्न बजाये गाड़ी चलायें, मोबाइल फोन का प्रयोग कम से कम करें और हेडफोन का इस्तमाल बंद कर देंl
मोबाइल और हेडफोन की अत्यधिक उपयोग की वजह से 10 से 30 साल की उम्र के मरिज बहरेपन का शिकार हो रहे हैं जो 10 साल पहले नहीं होता थाl
ध्वनि प्रदूषण एक अनदेखा खतरा हैl जिस तरह विदेशोें में बिना हॉर्न बजाये लोग वाहन चलाते हैं उसी तरह भारत के सड़कों पर भी हॉर्न का प्रयोग कम होना चाहिएl

Regarding noise pollution awareness, ENT Association Gurgaon President Dr. Sarika Verma said that the level of noise in Indian cities is thousand times higher than the level prescribed by WHO. Due to this, deafness is increasing, along with heart and mental diseases are also increasing. And troubled by the noise in the ear, many people are reaching the doctors.
This year our message to the people is to drive without honking, minimize the use of mobile phones and stop using headphones.
Due to excessive use of mobiles and headphones, patients in the age group of 10 to 30 years are becoming victims of deafness, which was not the case 10 years ago.
Noise pollution is an unseen menace. The way people drive vehicles without honking in foreign countries, similarly the use of horn should be reduced on the roads of India.
